Property Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

Property management company looking to hire Property Administrative Assistant in their Office in Markham for a 1-Year Contract. The ideal candidate must be very organized with high proficiency of written communications skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social media advertising including facebook, instagram, mail blast, wechat posts, e-flyers

  • Manage and coordinate new listings

  • Recertification of existing tenants

  • Evaluation of potential tenants for residency to ensure standards of responsibility are confirmed

  • General day-to-day administrative tasks as required e.g. respond to emails, post advertisements

  • Maintain and organize databases, calling tenants, calling landlords, etc. 

  • Preparing items for moving in/moving out (eg. making sure the tenant has tenant insurance)

  • Preparing and monitoring the tenant move in checklist

  • Arrange repairs for units when issues arise

  • Potential errands run as required eg. picking up cheques, follow up with tenants/landlords, key arrangement with tenant, setting up lockbox

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Able to multitask and prioritize is a must

  • Must be proficient in English and Chinese

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethics

  • Proficiency written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive & quick learner

  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable and Hardworking

  • Friendly, Personable, Positive Attitude and Professional

  • Excellent computer and typing skills

  • Proficient with google suite

  • Must be tech-savvy and use every social media platform to ensure adequate communication with supervisor as well as clients


Hours: Monday to Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm , and some weekends
